Tim Danielson, owner of Elegant Tile & Marble Co., has lived in Grand Island for over 35 years and started his flooring business in 2000. After completing a large addition to their home, Tim decided to follow his interest in flooring installation and start a new business. He spent the next several years learning about, and becoming certified in, the installation of several top of the line products and tools. Tim gained knowledge in the classroom as well as in the field, working with installers throughout Central Nebraska. His knowledge of products, years of experience, and attention to detail have helped him become a leader in the industry, handling all types of commercial and residential projects.

Tim’s sons, Samuel and Christian, joined the business as they got older and they continued to work together as the company expanded their service area, line of products, and size of jobs. While Samuel runs a crew in Grand Island, Christian branched out and has his own flooring installation business in the Lincoln market. Currently in the Tri-Cities, Elegant Tile & Marble Co. has three installation crews that are knowledgeable, skilled, professional, experienced, and ready to meet the growing demand for flooring installation.

This past year, Elegant Tile & Marble Co. also opened a small showroom in Grand Island. They have products from as far away as Italy, Spain, and Australia. Keeping with the family tradition, Anneka, Tim’s daughter, would be glad to show you around and help you learn about the several lines of flooring on display. She has a very good eye for detail and design. She will spend time learning about your project and help you make the best decision for your DIY project or a remodel done by the crew.

Elegant Tile & Marble Co. is equipped for large commercial installation projects as well as residential. A couple of years ago, they advanced their tear-out capabilities for commercial projects by purchasing the Bronco Floor Stripper as well as the Avenger 550 Concrete Floor Grinder. These machines make removal of old flooring much more efficient for large commercial jobs.
